ODIN Test Conference 2024 – Quality in unstable times 

The world is undergoing rapid and continuous change – technologically, economically and socially. These changes not only bring new challenges, but also opportunities for those of us who are concerned with testing and quality. The ODIN Test Conference 2024 encourages you to share your insights, experiences and innovative solutions under our theme: Quality in unstable times. 

 What do we mean by “Unstable times”?

• Technological change: Rapid change by new technologies and methods, especially the growing use of generative AI in test work. 
• Changed market requirements: Change in users needs and business models. 
• Work dynamics: Distributed work, cross functional teams and new forms of collaboration. 
• Global instability: Economic fluctuations, geopolitical changes and environmental challenges. 
• Innovation vs risk: Balance between the desire for rapid innovation and the need to manage risk and uncertainty. 

With the theme “quality in unstable times” we want to explore how testing and quality assurance adapt and thrives in a landscape characterised by uncertainty and change. We look for presentations that highlights: 

• Innovative test strategies: How do you adapt your test methodology to fast-changing environments and different type of teams 
• Overcoming obstacles: Share your success stories of coping with limited resources, tight deadlines, and how to handle unexpected challenges. 
• Promote quality: How do you ensure high quality standards under pressure? We want tips and tricks that can turn bad frameworks into quality advantages. 
• Team dynamic and management: How do you foster an environment that supports creativity and problem-solving within your team? 

• Personal growth: How have you grown as a tester/test manager/QA responsible…in these unstable times? Share your learning curves and how you have adapted. 

You might think that what you want to share doesn’t fit with what you read above? Please submit your proposal anyway- we are always looking for good and interesting presentations even if they do not quite fit into the points above.
